Flux + Studio RAP are runner up in competition for Park Huis Doorn
Flux and Studio RAP recieved the second prize in the design competition for Park Huis Doorn. For the assignment, the team proposed a bridge, a pavilion and a park bench. Other selected teams were Anouk Vogel Landscape Architecture, Gijs Van Vaerenbergh, Maatschap Observatorium, and Rink Tilanus.
The team of Flux has been to Berlin to visit several projects. It gave us much inspiration for our projects!
Flux designs Notenboomplein in IJmuiden
Commissioned by Synchroon, Flux is working on a design for a park in Ijmuiden. The development of the surrounding architecture has been designed by OZ architects. In collaboration with municipality of Velsen.
On behalf of Heijmans Vastgoed, Flux is working on the urban design and the design of the public space of Maanwijk Leusden. In collaboration with Molenaar & Co.
Film climate adaptive public space Province of Utrecht
Following the Merwedekanaalzone research climate adaptive, an overview and film was made about the approach of Flux landscape architecture within this project. The design research shows a range of possibilities how urban issues can be implemented in a climate-adaptive city. More info:
AM, Flux landscape architecture and Common Affairs won the tender for the development of an energy-neutral residential area in Krommenie. With the winning plan 'Eilanden van Hain', Zaanstad will have a water-rich residential area with approximately 235 ground-level homes. The plan is logically anchored in the landscape and all houses have a direct address to the extensive waterways network of Noord Holland. For the realization of the plan, based on the principles of the old villages in the Zaanstreek, we cooperate with Staatsbosbeheer, Arcadis, BAM Energy Systems, Kuijs Reinder Kakes, Van der Tol and Beaumont communicatie.
Flux landscape architecture selected for competition Park Huis Doorn
The team of Flux landscape architecture and Studio Rap was selected from 100 entries for the Park Huis Doorn competition together with four other teams. For the assignment, a design is requested for a bridge, a pavilion and a folly. The winning designs will be executed. Other teams are Anouk Vogel Landscape Architecture, Gijs Van Vaerenbergh, Maatschap Observatorium, and Rink Tilanus.
Commissioned by the Werkspoorkathedraal, Flux is working on a study into the circular potential of the building and its surroundings. The focus is laid on several flows: water, energy, ecology and food.
The results of the ‘Kracht van Overvecht’-project have been published. Flux was part of a design team on the theme of energy together with Except. The other teams were Lola / Tauw / MA.AN / SOON. Commissioned by AORTA & led by JanDirk Hoekstra.
