Sam van den Oetelaar
Project lead / Landscape architect
With a background in landscape architecture at Wageningen University & Research and expertise in geographical data, Sam combines systems thinking with strong design skills. He works on complex and layered challenges around climate adaptation across different scales, from city to region. At Flux, he leads large-scale design research processes addressing broader spatial challenges, including food systems and urbanisation. Sam is skilled at making complexity in design processes clear and tangible, providing teams with focus and direction.
His experience includes projects such as Groenvisie Eindhoven, Stadsdommel Eindhoven and climate-adaptive railway stations, alongside other large-scale spatial design and research projects.
